Finally after testing several content management systems the last month, I have the site up and running using Joomla open source CMS. For such simple site a full blown CMS might seem overkill, and I could probably easily managed it using plain HTML coding. But running a CMS significantly eases the task of adding and organizing content. And it was also great fun exploring the different open source CMS systems, and setting the site up. So even if there is not so much content here yet, I have several projects ongoing that I would like to share, and I will try to update the site fairly often as my projects progress.

www.hobbymechatronics.com is my attempt to contribute to the massive and impressive DIY electronics and mechanics community out there. I have always had an enormous interest in electronics and robotics. And lately also general mechanics, especially micro mechanics. On these pages I will describe different projects I have been working on, and hopefully they will be of interest and inspire others to both develop and share their knowledge and projects.

I am a M.Sc. in micro electronics, and have been working professionally with electronics design since 1999.
